The vehicle fire was located near Tia Juana Street and East St. Vrain Street. The fire department said Engine 23 responded to the fire and was able to get it under control within minutes. Colorado Springs K9 Roam makes strides in recovery after October stabbing

(KKTV) - Colorado Springs K9 Officer Roam is taking big steps in his recovery process after he was critically injured while on duty in October. On Oct. 15, police said Roam was stabbed multiple times in his head and abdomen while trying to help officers take a barricaded suspect into custody. On Monday, his handler said a veterinarian was able to take out all of Roam's sutures, and his drain was removed. According to his handler, this means Roam gets to say goodbye to his cone. "Also the big news for us was that he could finally have a bath (note wet dog) !!!" Roam's handler said in an Instagram post. According to Roam's handler, Roam still has approximately three weeks of limited activity and antibiotics left, but the K9's recovery is going well....

(KKTV) - The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of stealing a Roundabout shuttle bus. According to deputies, the bus was stolen from Georgetown on October 10, just before noon. Deputies said the stolen bus then struck an Idaho Springs Police vehicle on I-70 East near mile marker 241. The bus was reportedly found abandoned later that day in Denver. The sheriff's office shared video of the incident that shows the suspect driving the bus and veering between law enforcement. The video is at the top of this article. The woman in the video has since been identified. At this time, deputies have not said if she is facing charges. Trial delayed for man accused of deadly Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado Springs

Robert Dear is accused of driving to the Planned Parenthood on Centennial Boulevard on Nov. 27, 2015, and shooting at those parked next to his truck, then forcing his way into the clinic. For the next five hours, Dear is accused of trading fire with police while he allegedly barricaded himself inside the building. Three people, including a UCCS police officer, were killed, and nine others, including four law enforcement officers, were injured in the shooting. The case against Robert Dear has been undecided for years as he has undergone mental health evaluations. In September, a judge ruled that he is unlikely to be restored to competency.
